Policy Description TermSmart
ING TermSmart is term life coverage. Premiums are guaranteed level for the initial
term period of 10, 15, 20 and 30 years, with increases premiums thereafter. ING
TermSmart, Policy Form Number 1177R, varies by state and may not be available in
every state; are issued by ReliaStar Life Insurance Company, a member of the ING
family of companies.
Conversion Feature
Included with no extra premium. The policy may be converted to select cash value
policies issued by an ING Life Insurance Company, without evidence of insurability
during the guarantee period of the policy, not to exceed age 75 (age 80 for ING
ROP Term).

Children's Insurance Option (Additional Cost)
Available with extra premium. Provides level term insurance on each insured child
to age 25. Each unit provides $1,000 in death benefit for each insured child. A
minimum of 2 units and a maximum of 10 units are available. Cost per unit is $6.00
annually ($12.00 annually for ING ROP Term), regardless of the number of children
covered.
Parent issue ages are 18-60 and child issue ages are 15 days to 18 years. Expires
on the earlier of the insured's death, at the insured's age 65 or when the youngest
child reaches age 25. Conversion is available. Please call or email for details.
Accelerated Death Benefit
Included with no extra premium, where approved, for eligible policies. Allows prepayment
of a portion of the death benefit if the insured is terminally ill with a life expectancy
of 12 months or less.
The policy owner can request payment of up to 25% of the eligible death benefit,
not to exceed $250,000. Please call or email for details.
Availability Varies By State
Waiver of Premium Option (Additional Cost)
Available with extra premium. In the event of the total disability before the insured's
age 60 and after a waiting period of six months, premiums will be waived retroactively
from the beginning of the disability. Premiums will continue to be waived for the
duration of the total disability.
The maximum face amount for a policy with this rider is $5,000,000. Issue ages are
18-55. Expires on the policy anniversary nearest the insured's 60th birthday. Please

Accidental Death Benefit Option (Additional Cost)
Available with extra premium. Pays in addition to the base policy death benefit
in the event of the accidental death of the insured. Benefit amount is up to the
face amount of the base policy or a maximum of $300,000 on any one life (includes
any ADB already in force). Issue ages are 18-60. Expires on the policy anniversary
